Chennai Are The Champions For 2nd Time in IPL

What would have been in the wish list Chennai Super Kings' first final of this? 1) Winning throw on a slow field. 2) Great start from the openers. 3) Take off Chris Gayle for a duck. PS: By the way why not put out AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli at a good price? They got it all. Chennai produced an almost perfect game and mauled Bangalore Royal Challengers to lift their second trophy IPL.

M Vijay rarely has converted its beginning in the IPL and Michael Hussey has not sparkled in the previous few games. So what do the day of the grand finale? They accumulate a sizzling 159-run partnership to launch Chennai with a total mass at the Chidambaram stadium. R Ashwin then derail hunting packing off Gayle for a duck in the first over. Game over.

It 'was the ease with which the races ran, and how quiet they were recognized by accumulated Chennai Open, which has caught the eye. There were several large pieces, but almost everyone was in conventional zones. There was just a bad shot in the first 14 overs. Just one. In more than 10 °, Vijay had just had a casual shot that sailed just clear of a lunge on Luke Pomersbach deep midwicket boundary. He then tried to slog the next ball down the line and cut the leg side. The reaction of the players reflects the awareness of the need to control the adrenaline: the shadow of the arch Vijay drilled a straight bat and rushed through Hussey to have a long chat.

For the duration of the partnership, which lasted 14.5 overs, complemented each other with conflicting approaches. Hussey punctuated his bunts, French fries and unity with the occasional big hit - the highlight was a monstrous leap off Syed Mohammad who crashed on the roof over wide long-on. Vijay has gone in the opposite direction. He punctuated his fiery on-the-hits with fists up silent for singles and couples. They both ran hard and fast between the wickets and the scoring rate ever reported. Vijay grew more and more tired, but it was Hussey who fell first, squeezing a full launch by Mohammad long-on. At that point, had provided a great platform.

E 'was Vijay who started the mess off the final delivery of the second with a special shot. It 'been a short delivery long with little room for maneuver, or so it seemed, but Vijay is growing and spreading across the line for a fiery six on the long-on. Hussey pulled the next delivery from Zaheer Khan to backward square-leg boundary to launch the assault. They reiterated that double dose of sixes again. Hussey swing the final delivery of the fifth over, bowled by Mohammad, over the midwicket boundary and Vijay got up the next ball from Chris Gayle, over long on. Chennai reached 0 for 56 in six overs and kept going faster and faster.
They started their bowling in the same way. Ashwin only need three instructions to remove the main plug in their path. The first two turned sharply away from Gayle before the third deviated from all the strains and slipped to collect on the edge of an attempted cut. de Villiers reeled off some big shot, but was trapped by Shadab Jakati LBW Kohli and Suresh Raina had to sew the game to Chennai.

In contrast Bangalore slipped on the little things that count at this time. In Powerplay, there were three cases of adrenaline runs and fielders succumb to indulge in unnecessary throws, one by Saurabh Tiwary, also went to the limit. Pomersbach could have done a better job to take this opportunity in the 10th over by Vijay S Aravind and messed up the possibility of running out in the 12th over Hussey. Vijay, the non-striker, Hussey had called for a risky single and Aravind, the bowler who picked up the ball at short mid-on, threw him off at the end of the non-striker. There was another example, in 11, when the bowler, Mohammad, he threw himself full stretch to his right, but could not hold onto a difficult chance offered by Vijay. It was that kind of day. Things did not go right into Bangalore and everything went according to script for Chennai.

Gayle are the biggest profits of IPL-4

Gayle are the biggest profits of IPL and the biggest deficit Uthappa

Indian Premier League player of the market on their own talent managed to get big bucks. But during the tournament they not played well. Graph of these players will be thinking that after seeing their franchise, why I bought them.

Gautam Gambhir was purchased at a price of $ 24 million in IPL-4 auction. Kolkata Knight Riders captain Gambhir played not only consistent with its price, but the first time in four years ahead of team Pleoaf transported to the group round. Although the team suffered a defeat but the team's performance was commendable.
Gambhir played As a captain in 15 matches, made 378 runs at an average of 34.36, which involved two half-centuries. However, according to their price performance that is slightly faded. Given the results of the team also benefits as it is a loss.

The big profits Gayle

Bangalore Royal Challengers Chris Gayle proved the most beneficial deal. Gayle on his own bat carried the team to the final. Gayle scored 608 in just 12 games. Bangalore base of $ 6.5 million prize with him instead of Dirk Neness squad did. Base Price of $ 4 million at auction was Gayle. If Bangalore also bought him for $ 6.5 million, then each run GAIL Bangalore had a mere 45 thousand rupees. In addition to the team with his performance Gayle Runners - got the advantage of creating 7.5 crore. That Vijay Mallya 3 crore spent on a person earned Rs 75 million overall. Ie three and a half million gain. And that's just Eneami amount.

Here are the flops

Robin Uthappa - the first three seasons playing with Robin Uthappa Bangalore Royal Challengers IPL team the New Warriors 21 million bought in Pune. But its price did not perform in accordance with Uthappa.  Uthappa in the IPL-4 at an average of 26.40 in 14 matches, scored 264. If you look at the data yet Pune owner Subroto Roy Uthappa has had a run of about 4 lakh.

Irfan Pathan - Team India's selectors have been sidelined by Irfan Pathan confident Taking the Delhi Daredevils was purchased for $ 19 million. But have received the title of Junior rounder Pathan not right off the bat and ball performance. Irfan played 14 matches in the IPL -4 150 runs and 11 wickets are. If the data seen every wicket of Irfan their franchise Lutac the 78 lakh.

Saurabh Tiwari - became famous because of hairstyling as captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni from Jharkhand, Vijay Mallya purchased for $ 16 million for Bangalore. But the odor is not yet any such display that can be said that they are entitled to such a great price. Last year, the odor well with the Mumbai Indians IPL played in just 187 runs in 16 games. Mallya in the mirror each run of data on odor about 3 million 84 thousand rupees are spent.

Indian Premier League list with names big and small to work not only Indians but also includes foreign cricketers ...

Cameron White - Deccan Chargers was so confident for Australia's star players white. Believe in their talent, the Deccan bought him for $ 11 million. But White was fail in IPL -4. White has just 104 runs in 6 matches. According to the White each scored Deccan has had nearly 5 million rupees.

Daniel Christian - IPL auction the other day Australian all-rounder Daniel Christian are the most expensive player in the tournament are super flops. Christian with the Deccan Chargers for $ 9 million was added, but it could Kangaroo players have not performed to its price. Christian has played 14 matches so far just 190 runs, as well as he has just 11 wickets.

Ross Taylor - Explosive Kiwi batsman was played in World Cup against Pakistan. But in the IPL they seem quite dull. Rajasthan Royals to rely on Taylor's talent since he was purchased for $ 10 million. But they have to get off live up to expectations. Taylor played 12 matches so far have scored just 181. However, Rajasthan has performed well overall, but Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra is disappointed. Taylor scored in the mirror of the data for each of the Rajasthan franchises are almost two and a half lakh.

These shine in IPL -4 ...

Talking to domestic players Virat Kohli, Rahul Sharma, Munaf Patel, Suresh Raina and Iqbal Abdullah are the most successful players.

Chris Gayle in the name of the foreign players comes up. After Gayle Pollard Ceron, Johan Botha, Alasith Malinga, Mahela Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakkara

Chennai thump Bangalore, maintain IPL supremacy

Chennai overcome Bangalore for a place in IPL final

Opener Murali Vijay cracking 95 runs off just 52 balls to help the defending champions pile up 205-5 Ravichandran Ashwin removed first Bangalore Open early, ensuring a fine victory for the hosts in a packed Chidambaram Stadium.

League-toppers Bangalore, seeking their first IPL title, folded to 147-8 off 20 overs.

For Chennai, it was their eighth consecutive victory at home this season, underlining their dominance in home conditions.

The home side owed their victory to Vijay in the record 159-run stand for the first wicket with Australian Michael Hussey (63) set the platform for a winning total after captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni elected to bat first.

Their stand surpassed the 155-run partnership between Adam Gilchrist and VVS Laxman against Mumbai in the inaugural edition of IPL in 2008.

"I was concentrating on converting my own starting today, as it has not always happened this season," said Vijay, a man by the name of the game.

"This (Chennai) is a special unit from the title and keep it really feels great."

Bangalore Chase was soon derailed by off-spinner Ashwin (3-16) to get rid of the dangerous Chris Gayle for a duck in the first over.

Gayle, who still finished as the highest run-getter with 608 runs from 12 innings, he offered an outer edge which was snapped up by Dhoni behind the doors.

Gayle's dismissal triggered a collapse with Bangalore losing their next six wickets in 11 overs to be reduced to 70-6, a situation which could never really recover.

Saurabh Tiwary offered resistance with an unbeaten 42, but others simply Bangalore batsmen buckled under pressure.

"It would have been a much better game if we could put on a show like bowling on Friday (against Mumbai), but it was not to be," said captain Daniel Vettori Bangalore.

"I think 160-170 would have been chaseable but they opened the game away from us."

Vijay, said that the weak link in the Chennai line-up after an indifferent run with the bat in the tournament, has decided to make amends to the big stage, unleashing six six and four fours in his knock at the funeral home.

Hussey also hit, hitting three sixes and as many boundaries in his 45-ball innings before holing out to Abhimanyu Mithun near the boundary ropes off left-arm spinner Syed Mohammad.

Vijay, who seemed to struggle in hot and humid conditions during the latter part of his innings, missed out on a deserved century when he offered a simple catch to Vettori off Paceman Aravind Sreenath.

Aravind struck again off the ball very close to remove Dhoni, caught off a full launch of Virat Kohli after making 22 which included two sixes in an over from Gayle.

Gayle also had two branches in two balls, putting off Albie Morkel and Suresh Raina in the 20th over with his wily off-break.

IPL 4: Mumbai Indians beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 4 wicketsIPL 4: Mumbai Indians beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 4 wickets

Harbhajan Singh has hit the winning six for the Mumbai Indians, and roared, and all but thrust his boot towards the Knight Riders’ dugout.  It was his way of telling everyone the kind of frustration, his team has endured to this day and how they came out fighting.

Mumbai Indians should have won the competition easily. However, they made it more difficult for themselves, barely able to reach the modest goal of 148 only in the last over to Wankhede on Wednesday.

The Eliminator IPL has gone way down to the wire, even if, at some point, I was cruising at 81 for no loss in 7.5 overs. After losing the decisive Aiden Blizzard 51 (30 balls, 7 x 4, 2 × 6), have lost three wickets guide to land in a familiar location.

But James Franklin are not gathered around for 29 (25 balls, 2 × 4) to star in the act of saving the team. In the end, the Knights cleared and Mumbai Indians squeezed their way into the second qualifying tournament to be played in Chennai, Bangalore Royal Challengers against on Friday. The winner of this clash will face Chennai Super Kings in the grand final on Saturday.

The competition has become even closer due to a combination of bad joke, bad umpiring and some serious sledding. E 'provided the last-over finish.

Mumbai Indians won the toss and decided it would be better to hunt. However, when the Knight Riders started, the Wankhede not seem so bad to beat the first team. The ball came to bat well, the weather cooled and Ryan ten Doeschate, the best batsman of the day, showed everyone the road.

However, suicide was the approach the Kolkata top-tier issues that made it difficult for them early on. Lasith Malinga compensated for what he had lost the previous match in Mumbai Indians' against Kolkata Knight Riders. On Wednesday night, has sparked all the firepower to come back once again with astonishing figures of 19 runs from four overs and one wicket. However, it was the way Munaf Patel, Harbhajan Singh and Dhawal Kulkarni, supported Malinga who made the Mumbai Indians attack is particularly dangerous.

Patel took three wickets in his four overs, particularly sending back the dangerous Jacques Kallis in the early stages of the innings with a brilliant catch at mid-off Tendulkar. The next over saw Harbhajan roar as loud as possible, castling Gambhir, as the batsman attempted a slog sweep clumsy.

Kulkarni has done his bit 'too much, eliminating Manoj Tiwary - the second highest scorer for Knight Rider this season - and that was when the visitors got in serious trouble. However, nothing of what they have done collectively could match the Knights were ready to throw away their doors. If it were not for the perseverance Doeschate, they might not have reached the 100 mark.

Doeschate and Malinga has the respect it deserved, but Pollard and Kulkarni suffered at the hands of the batter. The Netherlands has become the highlight of the evening for his line also for the way she has handled Harbhajan, who had come into his own.

Super Kings hit by whirlwind Gayle

The West Indies opener hit six sixes in his 50-ball knock as Bangalore, Chennai exceeded total of 128-8 with two acquisitions to spare in their last league match of the Twenty20 tournament.

Gayle, who added 80 for the second wicket with Virat Kohli (31), finished the match when he hit spinner Suresh Raina for 11 runs off the last three balls of the 18th.

Chennai skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni hit six sixes in his explosive on a 40-70 ball has received little support, but on the other hand, the highest stand of the innings to 42 for the fifth wicket.

Chennai made a poor start after being put to bat as they lost four doors for 22 runs in the opening six overs, with left arm Paceman Zaheer Khan has dismissed Australian Michael Hussey and Raina in successive overs.

Hussey could only do four sessions before a sub-board devliery Zaheer at stumps while Raina was caught by Kohli at point.

New Zealand left-arm spinner Daniel Vettori put more pressure on Chennai when he removed Subramaniam Badrinath and West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo finally to finish with 2-15 off four overs.
